With nearly 19 years of experience practicing and teaching the Alexander Technique in London, I bring a comprehensive understanding of postural balance and movement efficiency within natural alignment.
My introduction to the Alexander Technique occurred after developing severe neck pain during my studies at Birkbeck, University of London. Motivated by its benefits, I undertook practitioner training at one of the STAT schools in London. Graduating in 2008 have been teaching full-time since.
My approach focuses on optimal postural alignment to enhance overall health and well-being. I am dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages in improving posture and balance to alleviate pain, tension, and fatigue, promoting efficient and comfortable movement.
As well as teaching individual sessions, I have extensive experience leading workshops focused on workplace posture for organisations such as the Society of Radiographers and MHRA and deliver customised “Stress Management Training” in diverse professional settings.
My background also includes working as a consultant on applying the Alexander Technique in postural education within NHS hospitals.
Assisting in teacher training at the CityATS training school and serving on the board of directors of STAT’s Council.
As a registered practitioner with the CNHC, I am qualified to receive referrals from medical professionals. Please feel free to contact me for a complimentary initial phone consultation to discuss your requirements.
