Ms Antonella Cavallone
Antonella has been an Alexander Technique specialist for over 10 years. She has a lifelong interest in dynamic posture and how to develop and improve it. She works with a wide range of clients, from those wanting to improve their posture or those suffering with chronic pain to the elderly, athletes and performers.
She also acts as a consultant on using the Technique for postural education in the health sector in NHS hospitals around the United Kingdom and private corporations. She has extensive experience in leading workshops on postural improvement at work for the Society and College of Radiographers, MHRA and many other professional environments, and runs bespoke 'Stress Management Training” programmes.
Antonella first came to the Alexander Technique after suffering from debilitating neck pain while studying towards her Art History degree at Birkbeck College, University of London. Inspired by the benefits she received, she trained as a teacher at the Victoria School for the Alexander Technique in London and has taught fulltime since.
Her experience also includes assisting in training teachers of the Alexander Technique at the CityATS training school. She has served on STAT’s council and remains on various committees, and is a registered CNHC practitioner whose members are entitled to receive referrals from doctors. She has often written about and been a voice for the Technique in the media.
