Ms Antonella Cavallone
I have been practicing and teaching the Alexander Technique in London for almost 15 years. I first came to the Alexander Technique after suffering from debilitating neck pain while studying for my degree at Birkbeck, University of London. Inspired by the health benefits I received from the technique, I decided to train to become a practitioner myself, at the Victoria School for the Alexander Technique in London. I graduated in 2008 and have taught fulltime since. I have a lifelong interest in good posture and how to develop and improve it as I believe that good postural balance forms the basis of good health. I am interested in helping people of all ages to improve the way they use their body to reduce pain, tension and fatigue improving ease of movement. I also act as a consultant on using the Technique for postural education in the health sector in NHS hospitals and private companies. I have extensive experience in leading workshops on workplace postural improvement for the Society of Radiographers, MHRA and other professional environments, where I also run bespoke 'Stress Management Training” classes. My experience also includes assisting in training teachers of the Alexander Technique at the CityATS training school. I serve on the board of directors of STAT’s Council. I am a registered CNHC practitioner (you can find my details on their database) whose members are entitled to receive referrals from doctors.
