Pamela Blanc
Pamela Blanc enjoys teaching the Alexander Technique to individuals from all walks of life. Teaching for over 40 years & residing in Los Angeles has brought many actors and musicians to her private practice. Pamela has taught at many AmSAT Conferences and at International Congresses. Pamela has been adjunct faculty & taught Master Classes in theater and music departments at numerous universities in southern California. Ms. Blanc gave the 2012 Memorial Address for AmSAT and was the International Guest Speaker & Teacher at the AuSTAT 2019 Conferance.
Pamela certified ACAT-San Francisco, 1979 (Frank Ottiwell & Giora Pinkas); was introduced to Mr. Macdonald while in training; participated over a 10 year period in workshops with Marjorie Barstow; did post-graduate work with Mr. Macdonald, Walter & Dylis Carrington, Marjory Barlow, and Peggy Williams. Pamela also trained with & assisted Jessica Wolf on numberous of her Art of Breathing courses and integrates this work into her teaching. Pamela is a founding Director (1987), current Head of Training and Senior Faculty of The Alexander Training Institute of Los Angeles.
