Ilana Machover

Ilana Machover qualified as an AT teacher in 1984. From 1986 to 2003 she was an assistant at the North London Teacher Training Course. She opened the Alexander Technique School, Queen’s Park in January 2004. The School closed down at the end of 2018.

Since 1984, when an AT department was established at the Royal Academy of Music, she has been a teacher in this department. On 27 January 2015 she was appointed Honorary Associate of the Royal Academy of Music.

Ilana conducted many special eutokia workshops, training AT teachers to work with pregnant women and accompany them in childbirth as dulas.

Ilana has published extensively and conducted many workshops on the AT.

She is also a qualified teacher of Medau Rhythmic Movement.
