Mr Malcolm Williamson

Malcolm Williamson began taking AT lessons in 1969 with Elizabeth Langford and Jean Clark, and trained with Walter and Dilys Carrington. He taught at the Royal Northern College of Music (1985-2023) and directed a STAT-approved training course for Alexander teachers (2001-18). Malcolm has been STAT Chair 1995-6 and edited its newsletter for twelve years. He is particularly interested in applying the AT to performing arts and education and is the author of several published papers on these subjects.
