Hidemi Hatada qualified as an Alexander Technique (A.T.) teacher with Walter and Dilys Carrington in 1996. She has 26 years of teaching experience in the application of the Alexander Technique to musical, educational, medical and business situations and she teaches at two A.T. training courses and at private clinics in London, and have given workshops in the UK and Japan.
Hidemi is a professional singer, keyboard player and a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She is a registered A.T. teacher of British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM) and the National Youth Choir of Great Britain. She also lectures on the Music Course at Soai University and Doshisha Women’s college of Liberal Arts, Japan.
