I have been teaching Alexander Technique since 1999 and work in Brighton & Hove (UK) and Vienna (Austria). I aim to tailor-make each session to my client's needs and value teaching with empathy and clarity.
Applications of AT to speaking, singing and presenting are special interests of mine. I was for many years a lecturer at the University of Vienna, where my teaching included speaking skills courses, primarily for trainee teachers. In addition to my private Alexander Technique practice, I now also run Alexander Technique-based voice seminars for various universities of education in Austria and for teachers' organisations.
My book about Alexander Technique The Thinking Teacher's Body: A Practical Guide to Teacher Well-Being, Vocal Health, and Development appeared in 2015.
"This book should be on every teacher's desk and on every trainee teacher's reading list .... in fact it should be on every trainee AT teacher's list, too". (Dorothea Magonet, AT teacher).
