Maximise benefits of Yoga by combining your practice with Alexander Technique. Put a Spring in your Step. Using elements of Yoga underpinned by the principles of Alexander Technique, Improve your Flexibility, Strength and Energy Levels.
Discover that:
- Your body is designed to move with ease
- Your feet need to be cherished and support you
- The ground is your best friend
Peripheral vision is vital in balance
You will:
- Be guided through a few simple activities (asanas) that will improve your strength and flexibility and help build gentle tone
throughout your body. - Discover habitual ways of walking that are unhelpful, and by overriding these habits, experience improved freedom in each step.
- Develop spacial awareness to improve your balance.
The morning will be spent learning these skills in the warm, spacious and comfortable barn, and in the afternoon, weather permitting, we will walk out practising our new learning.
