Kay Cady
Kay teaches the Alexander Technique on both a 1-1 basis, and in group sessions, in Denbury, South Devon. Following Smart Yoga training with David Moore, Kay is also currently offering movement classes, based on yoga asanas, and underpinned by Alexander Technique. Kay worked as a teacher trainer, during which time she was Director for the South Devon College delivery of the Exeter University Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE and CertEd [FE]). She has a Certificate in Education (Exon) [FE] and Master’s Degree in Education (Exon).
Kay's decision to learn the Technique was the result of suffering chronic headache, backache and stress related illness over a number of years. Finding no relief from a wide range of medical and alternative treatments; the Alexander Technique taught her that if she looked after herself, she could be free from pain.
