4 Week Online Alexander Technique Course

Mindful Living through the Alexander Technique blends two powerful principles: awareness and embodiment. Here’s what each entails:

Awareness: This involves an inward focus, paying close attention to your thoughts, emotions, and inner sensations. It’s about being fully present and conscious of your mental state.

Embodiment: Conversely, embodiment is about an outward focus on your physical self. It means tuning into your body’s signals, understanding its language, and responding to its interactions with the world around you.

Mindful Living integrates these elements, acknowledging that the mind and body are not separate but a unified whole. Through this synergy, you can attain a state of equilibrium and well-being. The Alexander Technique enhances proprioception, allowing you to be more attuned to yourself and your environment.

Many find it challenging to apply mindfulness to daily life, often viewing it as a short-term exercise that is hard to sustain. This difficulty arises from not practising with a complete understanding of movement and function, sometimes falling into the trap of seeing the mind and body as separate.

The Alexander Technique provides a practical approach to incorporating mindfulness into everyday activities, fostering a harmonious relationship between the mind, body, and environment.

Ten advantages of Mindful Living with the Alexander Technique:
