For STAT Members

As a STAT Member you can log in to access the Member areas of the website.  You can add a significant amount of personal information to your individual profile or in connection with introductory courses or private lessons.

By submitting this information you agree to it being published on the STAT website so as to be visible to the general public, except where you are given control to withhold it. (For example you can store three telephone numbers on your profile but only display two of them in association with private lessons, keeping the third one private.  Or you can “unpublish” a private lesson record so it doesn't appear.)

Any personal information you disclose in discussion posts in our forums or groups, Notices on the Noticeboard, Member news stories and articles in Statnews (if published on the website) will normally be available to all logged-in STAT Members.  But the information is not visible to the general public.

Members of STAT should also refer to the Members’ Data Protection Statement, which is appended to their membership application form. You'll need to be logged in to access this. The Members’ Data Protection Statement applies to all information given to STAT by members in their capacity as members.
