As a qualified teacher of both the Alexander Technique and Mindfulness in South Devon and Cornwall, Sarah-Linda works with pupils in a gentle and heart-centred way helping them live with less effort and more ease
"Working with both practices enhances my own well-being and helps me make healthy choices. I love that this work is about supporting others to thrive and have more say in their own physical, mental and emotional health. It’s not about trying to be perfect, it’s about being more real, more alive and discovering the ease that is available to us in any moment"
Some of the areas that Sarah-Linda has worked with include: pain; anxiety/stress; tension; insomnia; feelings of being ‘stuck’ or under-resourced; problems with posture or balance; specific conditions such as Parkinsons and hypermobility syndrome or simply a desire to know how to take better care of ourselves
She offers 1-1 Alexander Technique lessons, 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) courses, taster sessions and much more. Sarah-Linda spent 3 years training to teach the Alexander Technique, qualifying in 2008 (MSTAT). She then spent a further 3 years training in Mindfulness Based Approaches with Bangor University, Breathworks and Exeter University. She adheres to the Good Practice Guidelines for Teaching Mindfulness Based Courses and the professional standards required by STAT, the largest professional association of Alexander teachers worldwide
