After studying French and Art History in Paris followed by an internship at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York, my career has been spent working in museums. I organised the loans out programme from the Collection at The Tate Gallery, and then coordinated the practical arrangements for exhibitions at Tate Modern from 2000 and latterly was the Senior Exhibition Registrar at The National Gallery, London 2007-2013.
I had my first Alexander Technique lesson in 1994. I was completely won over by it and continued to have lessons alongside my career for 20 years. I have had lessons with some of the doyens of the technique including Walter Carrington in 1995. In 2014 I decided to study to be a teacher and I graduated in 2016. I hope my long gestation period as a pupil and intensive final 3 year teacher training will bring a richness and freshness to lessons I can now offer.
