My first experience of the Alexander Technique felt like a new beginning. It gave me hope and optimism that I could find an end to decades of back, neck and posture problems.

Until that point I’d tried countless exercises and therapies. Nobody could tell me what was wrong but I knew I was going downhill. I had a history of back issues and had felt physically ill at ease for years. Through the Alexander Technique I finally felt calm, comfortable and free from pain in a way I’d never thought possible.

I started taking Alexander lessons around the menopause. They helped me deal with the physical and emotional changes as well as giving me a more positive approach to the process of growing older.

I left office life behind and changed direction to become an Alexander Technique teacher in North London. Now I help others to lead more active, balanced and calmer lives. It's also been a positive move for my own health and wellbeing.
