Miranda French

Miranda had her first Alexander lessons in 1995. She took intensive daily lessons for a number of years before joining the teacher training course set up by the late Walter Carrington who was himself a protégé of the founder, F.M. Alexander. She graduated in 2020 and is a registered member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique, the lead governing body worldwide.

Her former career as an actress and drama workshop leader makes her approach particularly useful to those in the performing arts, such as actors and musicians. However, her work is equally of benefit to people of all ages and walks of life, whatever their own personal needs.

Miranda gives one-to-one individual lessons in the Alexander Technique from her home in Beaminster, Dorset DT8 3BB.
