Gerda has been teaching the Alexander Technique since 1982 in private practice, and educational establishments, and also through giving workshops.
The best way to get a sense of the Alexander Technique is to experience it. Why? For example, when someone describes the taste of example hot chocolate, we can imagine something or compare it to an experience we have had; when we taste the hot
chocolate ourselves, it means something.
Each session is tailored to the individual based on the Alexander Principle. The first lesson will include a conversation about the issue that prompted the interest in exploring an Alexander lesson.
The practical work starts with an inquiry about How we Sit on a chair, Stand, or Walk. With this information, the process of addressing the issue begins.
At present Gerda runs a small private practice from Primrose Hill – The Green Rooms 13 St, Georges Mews (off Regents Park Road)
