I first had Alexander lessons whilst studying the violin at music college. I found that the Technique helped me overcome lower back pain and performance related tension and anxiety. After training and working as a music and violin teacher for a number of years I restarted Alexander lessons and found them so beneficial that I decided to train to become a teacher of the technique myself. I qualified in 1997 and now live and work in Eastbourne where I teach the violin and the Alexander Technique. I have enhanced DBS status.
