After gaining a degree in music from the University of Nottingham, I spent over twenty years working for BBC Radio as a music producer. I left in 2008 and have been studying Alexander Technique for over eight years. In 2010 I enrolled on a full time course to learn to be an Alexander Teacher at Cumbria Alexander Training at the Fellside Centre in Kendal. I now teach in Lanark in central Scotland. I am a keen rider and kept highland ponies for over twenty years. I teach from time to time at Edinburgh Alexander Training School.
I have found Alexander Technique extremely helpful in many of the activities I enjoy, including horse riding, hillwalking and singing. I am particularly interested in helping others to discover its many benefits and the ways in which it can enhance performance in a whole range of activities.
I teach AT privately one-to-one, give talks and workshops and I am also a teacher at the Edinburgh Alexander Training School in Portobello.
