I qualified in 2008 from the Constructive Teaching Centre in Holland Park and went to teach straight away at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and the BBC, as well as privately.
I particularly love working with musicians, being one myself, and have worked with the European Union Youth Orchestra in the residency period of their tours over the last seven years, in Switzerland and Austria and also remotely.
I was Head of Alexander Technique at the Dragon School in Oxford, where I also taught the piano and I set up group and individual A.T. lessons for children who learned an instrument. I have worked with music students, staff and scholars at Magdalen College School, both on an individual basis and through running workshops for the choristers. I also taught music students at Abingdon School for three years.
I have a private practice at home in Thame where I see a variety of pupils of all ages and I also work with businesses. This has included teaching people all over the world during COVID (online), which was very exciting and rewarding. I have been teaching at Oxford University Press for the last five years running introductory group courses and 1:1 lessons on-site for the office staff.
