Mrs Barbara (Bobbie) Gallagher

Bobbie Gallagher BA, MA, PGCE, MSTAT

Following a career as a teacher, writer and video producer, Bobbie had her first life changing lesson in the Alexander Technique in 1994. She trained at the Alexander Re-education Centre in Berkshire with Ron Colyer and Ray Evans and after teaching for a while, did a postgraduate course at the Constructive Teaching Centre at Lansdowne Road with Walter Carrington

In 2002 Bobbie moved permanently from Berkshire to London and from 2003 – 2015 taught on the main course at the Constructive Teaching Centre as well as on refresher courses at summer and Easter for qualified teachers. She was also part of the CTC team of four running continuous learning workshops for teachers and students at three international Congresses in Switzerland 2009 and 2012, and Ireland 2015.

Her main private practice is in Goodrich, Herefordshire, but she also teaches in France (she now has a house in Provence where she spends several months a year) and occasionally runs workshops for teachers in Brussels.
