Annie Whitehead MSc MSTAT lives and works in Leeds, West Yorkshire. She qualified from the North of England Teaching Centre for the F M Alexander Technique (NETCAT) in 2007. She is a third generation Alexander Technique teacher and was taught by Maggie Rakusen, Director of NETCAT, who in turn was trained by Walter Carrington. Walter Carrington was trained by F M Alexander himself. Annie provides individual Alexander Technique lessons and workshops in Leeds and the surrounding area.
Her current clients include musicians, professional workers, people with an injury (eg bad back, chronic neck pain) or a medical condition (eg Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Idiopathic Parkinson's disease, Fybromyalgia) and people who simply want to improve their general wellbeing. Annie has appointments available both during the day and some evenings. Annie provides home visits for people who are not mobile.
