Erica Donnison

I trained at Fellside (Cumbria Alexander Training) in Kendal and now work in various locations around Cumbria and Lancashire. I have a particular interest in freedom of movement and helping people to apply the Alexander Technique to activities they enjoy, such as running, horse riding and cycling, as well as the practicalities of everyday living. I find the Technique so helpful myself and I love sharing my insights with others. I am constantly exploring the application of the Technique in my life and have an interest in research and the science behind the AT. I am currently working more with people living with Parkinson's (I run a weekly group for Parkinson's UK Kendal and District Branch as well as working with individuals in their own homes), Motor Neurone Disease (funded by the local MND Association) and other conditions to help them find a way to cope more easily with their symptoms and feel more in control of their lives. I work with clients who have had a cancer diagnosis and those who are bereaved who have contacted Cancer Care for help. Lessons with me are practical, light-hearted and hopefully, fun!
