Candlelit Alexander Wellbeing Event
This event is Sold Out - All 50 tickets have been taken! However, a waiting list is being created on Eventbrite, so any returns can be passed on to those on the list.
Come along to historic The Old Church in Stoke Newington for a candlelit session, to experience the wonderful Alexander Technique Active Rest procedure in semi-supine, that helps you unwind, calm down, look after your back and manage stress.
Registered Alexander Technique teachers Hilary King, Jessamy Harvey, Caroline Sears, Daniela Sangiorgio, Natasha Broke and Thodoris Ziarkas will be running the session, which is linked to International Alexander Technique Week.
Given the nature of the Old Church, please wrap up warmly and bring a yoga mat with you to lie on, plus a couple of paperback books to rest your head on.
This is a 14+ event but under 16s need to be accompanied by an adult.
There will be a bar open at the end of the session, with suggested donations towards Safaplace.
In aid of Safaplace: Reg Charity no. 1179202
Safaplace was formed after two teenagers sadly committed suicide and the charity aims to support the positive mental health and wellbeing of students in Stoke Newington School and young people in the wider community. If you cannot attend, you might like to donate to Safaplace via the link above.

"Life has been very stressful lately. Being able to lie down in semisupine using the Active Rest procedure in the office has not only reduced my tension but helped clear my mind so I could work better"
