A workshop with David Moore and Rossella Buono
This is a workshop for teachers to develop their own use as well as their teaching and observation skills when working with people practicing yoga.
David Moore, author of Smart Yoga has been teaching yoga and the Alexander technique 37 years. He is a Senior Registered Teacher with Yoga Australia and for the past 24 years has run an Alexander teacher training course in Melbourne.
Rossella Buono, author of For the love of Games, lives and works between Canterbury Uk, Italy and Australia. She runs business workshops and directed the Congress in Berlin 2022.
Usually David and I introduce both yoga and Alexander Technique and how they work together, then based on the attendees interest and needs, we go through a real yoga class, looking in details how an Alexander Technique teacher uses his or her skilled hands to personalise poses, improve awareness and safety and change habits".
Please wear comfy clothes and bring a mat.
Previous yoga experience is not necessary, we work in a safe, respectful and considerate way.
The tools learnt here in relationship with yoga are easily applicable to other forms of movement
Get in contact if you have any questions!
Cheers
Rossella and David
