These terms and conditions apply to all online payments made to the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique.
Please read these terms carefully before using the online payments facility. Using the online payments facility on this website indicates that you accept these terms. If you do not accept these terms do not use this facility.
All payments are subject to the following conditions:
- Your payment will take a minimum of two working days to reach the account to which you are making a payment. (This includes time to verify your credit/debit card details with your credit/debit card supplier).
- We can not accept liability for a payment not reaching the intended account due to a customer quoting an incorrect account number.
- Neither can we accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the credit/debit card supplier (due to the member quoting incorrect card details or other reasons).
- If the credit/debit card supplier declines payment, we are under no obligation to bring this fact to the member's attention. Members should check with their bank/credit/debit card supplier that payment has been deducted from their account.
Confirmation of Payment
You will receive a confirmation of your payment on your screen after you make the payment. You can print this out as confirmation by selecting the printer icon.
Membership Renewal
By renewing your membership you agree to be bound by the following documents and policies of STAT:
- Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Code of Professional Conduct and Professional Competence
- Child or Vulnerable Adult Protection Policy
- Bullying and Harassment Policy
- Data Protection Policy
- Whistle Blowing Policy
- Refunds Policy
- Rules and Bye-laws
STAT does not operate a refund policy for membership fees if membership is terminated within the last two months prior to end of the membership year. If however a payment is made in error using the online payment processing system a refund will be issued. Please contact the office to notify us at info@alexandertechique.co.uk as soon as possible.
Legal Statement
The data that you provide during this transaction will only be used for the purpose of recording your payment. We shall abide by the principles of the Data Protection Act 2018 and GDPR and ensure that the data is used for no other purposes and is disclosed to no third party.
Revisions
The Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique may revise these Terms at any time. You are advised to visit this page every time you use this online payment facility.
