Ms Cristina Codina Llavina
With 15+ years of experience in teaching the Alexander Technique and core posture alignment, my background in Health Sciences has shaped my commitment to helping clients achieve healthier movement patterns and reduced stress. Collaborating with institutions such as City Lit, City Academy, NHS, and more, my expertise as a Member of STAT and a CNHC-registered practitioner ensures the highest standards. An unconventional addition to my practice was the hula hoop, introduced by my Head Training lead Ilana Machover during my Alexander Technique training. It offered a playful way to integrate alignment skills into dynamic movement. When the pandemic hit, rediscovering the hula hoop became a fitness savior, adding a joyful dimension to my classes. It engaged core muscles, enhanced coordination, and provided stress relief, proving to be a versatile tool for holistic well-being. My journey emphasizes the adaptability of traditional practices and the importance of innovation in promoting health and joy.
